Describe the trip in your own words, and the AI assistant suggests name, destination, dates and currency. You check the draft and save it. Free for everyone, and if you'd rather fill in the form yourself, that's one click away.
Invite by email, share a link, or let people scan a QR code when you're together. Everyone on the trip can add, edit and tick things off, and the organizer badge shows who's running the show. People you've traveled with before can be starred as favorites and invited with one click next time.
Enter stays, flights, ferries and rental cars by hand, or hand the AI assistant a booking confirmation, an itinerary or a screenshot. It turns them into stops, bookings and costs, and you tick what gets added. Nothing is saved without your OK. The AI assistant inside a trip is an optional extra.
Every stop lands on the map, with stays and transport in between. A green line means the connection is booked, and each tab shows how much is already done. Take the route along as a KML or GPX file, into Google My Maps or your offline maps.
Once the AI assistant is unlocked, the organizer sees what matters for the destination, matched to their nationality: visa, vaccinations, mandatory insurance. The points come from the German Federal Foreign Office's travel advice and each one links its source. The ones you pick land on the checklist in one click.

Once the trip is planned, your dashboard shows it under "Up next": how many days are left, how you're getting there (everyone sees their own flight) and what's still open on your checklist.
One tap on "Add to calendar" and your flights, ferries, stays and open checklist items appear in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. If someone changes a booking, your calendar follows. You only see the legs you're on yourself. Prefer paper? The whole trip is also available as a PDF, with route, flights and costs.

While you're away, the trip sits at the top of your start page: which day of the trip it is, where you are, tonight's accommodation with its address, what you spent today and where your balance stands.
Tap "Add expense" and type it in, or take a photo of the receipt: the AI assistant reads amount, date and category and pre-fills the form for you to check. Paid in another currency? The amount is converted to the trip's currency automatically.
Your companions are notified when someone logs a cost they share, including their part of it. Additions to the plan are bundled so the bell doesn't overflow, and every trip can be muted.

Square up fairly and quickly once you're home.
Every booking and every expense ends up in one list. Mochilo works out each person's balance and the fewest payments it takes to square up, no spreadsheet needed.
A PayPal link with the amount filled in, or a bank transfer: scan the QR code with your banking app, or copy IBAN, amount and reference. Both are optional, and each traveler decides in their profile what to offer.
Once everyone has paid, mark the balances as settled and the trip moves to your past trips. The yearly rundown shows what your travels cost, by trip or by category. Prefer working in a spreadsheet? Export all costs as a CSV file, with each person's share.
